Betty & Ray's 50th wedding anniversary family picture, March 29, 2008
Allen, Uncle Odie(Al's uncle), Ray(Al's dad), and Tim(Al's brother)
Me and my beautiful ladies - Deanna, my niece, and Ashton- I love these girls with all my heart and are very proud of the beautiful young ladies they are turning into. That's beautiful both inside and out.
These are Tim's children - Al's brother - Timmy, Deanna, and Amanda
This is Amanda's family. She is an amazing mother. I love to watch her with them and how she shows the children that she loves them so much. Another lucky baby is about to have her as their mother. Amanda you are doing a great job!!

The best part of the trip was to be with the family and see how much they have grown and the great things they are doing with their lives.

50th Wedding Anniversary

Allen's parents, Betty and Ray, have been married for 50 years! That is so amazing to me. I think it is wonderful.

After our t-ball pictures we loaded the car and headed to Rigdecrest, CA. to help them celebrate their feat. It was very nice to be able to share the day with them and to see the rest of the family!
Here is a picture of Betty and Ray's children, Allen, Tim, and Brenda, and their families. There are grandchildren and great grandchildren in this picture. Sorry it's fuzzy, my camera.
We actually managed to get a family picture. It took great effort - Blake is giving us his :hurry up I'm done smile". The boys had a ball running around and playing with the other kids. Ashton spent her time following her favorite cousin, De, around.
Allen and I at 17 years of marriage.
Allen and I at 50 years of marriage. Do you think it will last? I do, who can resist this handsome man?! Hee, Hee. He is going to kill me but I couldn't resist. He makes me laugh with his goofiness and sarcasm. 50 years, Bring it on!

Allen gave a nice toast to his parents and said that he hoped his marriage would last for 50 years. Allen I have witnesses:) I have a great man and I am glad that we have made it this far. His parents have laid a good path to follow! Thank you:)

Opening Day for T-Ball - March 29th

Saturday March 29th was opening day - Allen and Blake raced to the park for pictures
Blake looked so big in his uniform. I love a man in uniform! He is so proud of himself to finally be playing baseball like his brother and sister. He is really good at it too!
Allen is helping coach the team so we were lucky to get a dad son picture. My boys are so handsome!
Kirsten and I spent 5 hours making this banner for the team. We had no idea it would take so long. It was worth it! We took 3rd place in the banner contest out of 21 other banners. Go Kirsten and Lisa!! OK I like to pat myself on the back:) We are very proud of our work and our boys!
The Rockhounds are #1. Here is Blake's first T-Ball team. We love to watch all the boys play and giggle at how pure the game is with 3, 4, & 5 years old. I think it the highlight of the week to watch them play. Once again, I'm the luckiest mom in the world!

Dying Eggs

They were so proud of themselves!

The kids really got into dying the eggs this year. They figured out that you can use regular paint and brushes. Ashton and Craig spent all afternoon painting their eggs. Ashton's pink one ended up with pokaspots. That's her favorite detail at the moment. Craig got so into his painting he ended up taking off his shirt and getting messy. All of his eggs were orange. Blake was just fascinated with the colored water. When he was done his hands were almost black. Another Easter success!

Easter Sunday Pictures

After church, we took our annual Easter pictures by the big tree in the front yard. I am so amazed at my children. Their sweet faces and goofy antics. They keep my laughing.

I am the luckiest mom in the whole world!

Cousin Time

This was the last picture of the day in the park. This is a picture of my children and my brother's boys, Richard and Wyatt. They look a little tuckered out. These beautiful children have been through thick and thin and love to be together. It is so fun to watch them together. We are very proud of them and their ability to help keep our family together!! We are very blessed.

More Family Pictures From The Picnic

The girls have gathered to talk : Aunt Heidi, Kelly, and Aunt Patsy, while Allen and Grandpa sit on their own and talk. It's funny how we gather together. We all need a little girl time:)

Here are my beautiful children loving each other!
We are the greatest! Cousins are the greatest!

Family Easter Picnic

Our annual family picnic was a success! We ate, played on the play ground, and the younger children hunted for eggs. Look at Craig and Blake's haul!! We took lots of pictures of the cousins. Last year we went swimming afterward at Grandpa's house but this year it was to cold. Hopefully, next year we can swim!! We had a water fight instead. It was nice to be together and boy the kids are growing up fast!
